The Factory extension incorporated a steel framed design and insulated cladding with new loading bay and the major alterations of the existing dust extraction facility.
The works were programmed so as not to cause the factory to suffer any down time in their work as they had deadlines to meet.
We incorporated weekend and night time working to ensure down time was kept to a minimum.
The remaining works included the design and up grading of new lighting and heating systems in the existing factory areas.
The removal of the existing dust control extraction unit and the installation of the new system was carried out to a very tight programme as the factory could not operate without the extraction fully working.
We carried out this sensitive element of the contract over the weekend, incorporating all the necessary testing and commissioning required.
This was done to ensure the factory was able to carry on working on the Monday morning.
